GREEN, WHITE or RED ONIONS?  |

| When cooking i use white onions. It has a not-too-strong flavor and is sweet specially when cooking corned beef and pizzas. Green is the same but is frequently large. | | I actually use a combination of both white and red onions. Luckily I can purchase them already diced up in a container in the produce section of my grocery store. I keep them in the freezer when I need them for certain recipes like home-made chili. | | | | | | |

| | We have red and yellow onions here, the red mostly goes for salads because it is tastier and looks good in it, the yellow for boiling /cooking. Also we use spring onions a lot but only on bread. My hubby enjoys eating the green part of it and I like the white part we both enjoy that on a slice of bread.
