DVD to DivX/ Xvid Conversion  |

 I got a lot of DVDs that I would like to backup to Xvid or DivX so I can yse them on my laptop (without taking up too much space). What's the easiest way to do this?

1.  RAMPersona (1727) | 1 year ago |  try DivX Converter from divxnetworks (shareware program bundled in DivXCreate.exe) and DVDIdle to decrypt DVDs (this program serves as the middleman which should be ran in the background but use it only if you can't play your DVDs normally using your fav media/DVD player like WinDVD, PowerDVD,..)

| RAMPersona (1727) | 1 year ago | DivX Converter is free but to avail particularly 'DivX Pro' codec capabilities, you need to input the pass code, while the optional DVDIdle is shareware, so you can only use it fully functional for a limited time period.

3.  mihimolly (4890) | 1 year ago |  I use VSO divx2DVD which lets you put a lot of divx on one DVD.I've heard DVD santa is good to and DVD shrink but I haven't tried either of those.
