Sometimes boredom sets in at some point in our lives and so I did the ouija board thing with a few friends and it freaked us all out, as the pointer actually moved, no word of a lie and spelled out the name franco revelli, and we asked him if he was evil and the pointer moved to yes............fffffaaaaaarrrrttttt!!! I've filled my favourite Y-fronts now!! Has anyone done this silly board game and felt paranoid or even like a presence follows you around ever since doing the ouija board? I'll just go and change my golden y-fronts now!

I cannot honestly say that a Ouija has ever moved for me, but my mother and younger cousin have claimed to speak to a spirit named "Craig" in the home I grew up in. This Craig being also claimed to be evil, etc. My little cuz about shite himself as well, he couldn't have been more than 12 att. If I were you, I'd tell him to begone in the name of Jesus Christ and be done with him. I know you are no fan of white religions, but for crying out loud, you have kids in your home. Take the chance and use the Lord's name to get rid of this being...then burn your Ouija at the stroke of midnight and tell me if it really screams. GRRR! had to log back in to post this!!!

Life is full of new things to try before you die, that's why I'm seen hanging off my local motorway bridge with my graffiti spray cans risking my life and tired limbs!!

I used a Ouija board many years ago with friends. I never believed it actually worked. It always seemed like someone was really pushing the pointer to certain letters. I read a lot about this board later and found there can be some truth to it if it is done correctly. I no longer mess with one now, but I do still have mine after 30 years. LOL.

I'm undecided as yet, half truth and half a lie, but there is maybe something to it as evil is all around us, so why not as evil spirits and ghosts that like board games.

Not sure why anyone would take a chance of unleashing something that need not be played with. There are many things that are not understood and often belittled by science to mess with them. I have heard of stories of when they are burnt there is a scream issued. I have not witnessed that however I briefly had a ouija board and don't know whatever happened to it. Don't miss it at all.

I strongly believe there is a lot of myth and fear surrounding these things, that people are afraid of the rumours that they believe!

Yes I played around with a ouija board with some friends once too. It gave us a name and answered a few questions...then we all got freaked out when after a while of puttig it on top of the fridge and the pointer flew off the fridge and stabed into my friends hand... when we were joking about it.. I haven't touched one since.

In our country, we call it as Spirit of the Glass where we use the glass as the pointer. The board that is being used in this game is some kinda the same as that of the Quija Board. I don't have the courage to play Quija Boards. I have attempted to try it for several times already but I'm kinda scared. I don't have the guts to join my friends playing this. My friends who have played this game told me it was really true. When the glass started to move, they didn't continue it all. Old folks say playing this game is too risky because you never knew who these supernatural beings are. WHether they are ghosts or evil spirits. They do not allow this game to be played unless you are an expert on this already. :)

Well, I consider myself as an expert, I've watched a few horror films to know that messing with demonic entities and evil spirits bring about the deaths of anyone who is foolish to mess with it!

I was always taught that Ouija boards were terrible things to get into as children especially. There is a lot of history behind the boards, occultic practices and rituals. I would not suggest getting into the occult to anyone.
