Private investigator

If you've think that your partner is cheating on you, would you hire a private investigator like in the movies or just ask him/her? What if he/she wasn't and found out that you hired one? How will you reason out your action?

I won't hire one because i don't want to invade the privacy of my partner. Trust is very important in one relationship. So, if there's no trust, love is no longer there. She can cheat on me but later on the truth will come out. You can't hide your cheating forever.

Unless I was really rich, unless I was to get big bucks upon a divorce I wouldn't hire an investigator. If the poor guy is cheating on poor me, then he's gone. No money to pay out.
