Does Anyone Know Whether This Site is Secure?

Hi no i do not think that this site can be hacked nor your computer can be hacked from here because the mylot admin is a highly educated and technical savvy guys and they have taken a lot of protection at mylot and it is a secure site to do online transactions as well cos money is involved so i am sure they are very well secured so rest easy and keep on posting away

how been what had happen can u tell me so i can increse my security so i cant be hacked and how did u came to know about that it has been hacked

I am a member in mylot since last August and nothing had happened to my computer (touchwood). The site owners, I am confident do not involve in such activities and it is a good site.

If you have safety concerns about this or any program,I would suggest asking the support team of MyLot as they have been very quick and clear whenever I have had any questions.I would rather suggest that to you then taking a guess(and that is all it would be is a guess).I hope this helps .

Let me tell u one thing.. There's nothing at all secure on the internet, and that pretty much includes mylot as well.. So, I wud suggest u to keep ur firewall on at every time u access the interent.. That wud surely keep the hackers at bay...

I haven't had any problems urbangirl. I have Trend on all the time and it hasn't picked up any nasties from here. I would always keep an internet security on whilst on the internet anyhow urban.. just in case!

i think, if a site shows a "verisign" it will have security features with it..... and you can be sure, though not 100%, that the particular site is safe.

about a month ago, i have encountered a discussion which proved that there is a hacker around here in mylot. with the way hackers have devised excellent programs, it is very difficult to say that we can be safe from their operations. these hackers can very easily rob us of our earnings and the amount of work that we do here in mylot. if you have noticed that instead of your points going up, they get lower marks everytime you make a post, you are being hacked. i have been a victim and i need to change my password twice in a week. at times, it has to be done even more often.

Like Denmarkguy said, I think you can be subjected to malicious scripts, but it appears as though the site itself is safe enough. Is there something in particular that is worrying you about Mylot?
