Oh it's always so very difficult to narrow it down, there are just so many that I love.
I'll try not to include the ones that have already appeared on this discussion, so I'd have to start off with;
1. Kyou Kara Maou
Great anime, hilarious. You can tell it is a comedy from the very beginning since the main character gets flushed down a toilet and ends up in another world. I highly recommend it.

2.Mushishi
This is one I just recently started watching. It has a great plot, and every episode is like an individual story. It focuses around these creatures called Mushi and what they do, every episode really just leaves me in awe. A very deep anime and very interesting with each new episode.

3. Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge
This anime is just hilarious, very much pure comedy. It focuses on a girl who just moved in with four boys. The boys were given a mission by their landlady, who is also the girl's aunt, they must transform the girl into a proper lady. If they succeed; the rent will be no more. The catch being if they fail; they're rent will be tripled, plus the girl is far from a quick fix. Be sure to check this one out whenever you get a chance.

4.Afro Ninja
Fanastic anime, loved it! As a plus Samuel L. Jackson is part of the voice cast as well as the guy that played Hellboy in the movie can't remember his name. Very action packed violent and lots of gore. Awesome fight scenes great attitude of main character. Really I just can't say enough good things about this anime, watch it.

5.Cowboy Bebop
Great series and awesome movie afterwards. Bounty hunters, future, space, need I say more, well I will anyways. I love this series this one of the fisrts that got me hooked, at first I thought "what cowboys in space" sounds ridiculous, but no I was very wrong. It has such depth and a great plot behind it. From beginning to end it's wonderful! If you haven't seen it you are definitely missing out!

I know that's already 5 but I just have to mention Trigun also one of my all time favorites, I thought of it because of the last one I put, the plot is just so original and perfect, loved every second of it. If you haven't seen it, go watch it now, you'll thank me afterwards! Okay I've taken up enough of your time now go watch some anime.

1. Fullmetal Alchemist. Best-anime-EVER. <3 I just love it, and here in Italy in 4 episode it'll finish, and I'll become mad. too mad. Crazy. ;_;

2. Death note. Amazing :Q_ It's so dark...and interesting...Not the same anime of these periods..<3 original and cool. And I love L!U_U

3. Ouran Host Club. So funny, God!xD I love Haruhi, she's so cool and strong...And I love Hitachiin bros. They're crazy, mad, yaoi boys xD

4. Bleach!OçO I've started it some months ago, and I think it's a cool anime, but it has to catch my attention U__u
