2007-04-05 Toronto Maple Leafs at New York Islanders |
| |
| Well the Leafs can't afford to lose today and I don't think they will. I am hoping that the Islanders have packed it in, and aren't even bothering anymore. I really hope the Leafs don't show their blue and start choking like they so often do at the most inappropriate times. The Leafs also will be looking for revenge from the last time they faced the Islanders. In fact, if they miss the Playoffs by 1 point, I am blaming that one game. What are your thoughts? | | | | | |

| | Honestly, when the post lockout changes happened, the two teams that should have been screwed the most were the Leafs and the Devils. The Leafs need a year where they have a lot of cap space AND a lot of free agents entering the market at the same time. They really have not gotten that since the lockout. | | | |

| | Well they turned in a grade A pathetic performance tonight. I have gotten very leery of Maurice's coaching abilities and have no confidence in JFJ. As I said, there better be wholesale changes. | | | |

| | Most people are saying Maurice did a great job given what he had, I don't know how much I agree. Quinn missed the playoffs by 1 point last year with pretty much the same team. True, we were the 2nd most injured team in the NHL, but I can't help but wonder how Quinn would have done with this team. That tells me that JFJ may not have made the greatest decision. I am one who believes a GM needs time to turn things around. JFJs is almost running out. I do genuinely believe he got screwed by the lockout and the new restrictions that it brought, but if the Leafs don't win at least one round of playoff hockey next year, I say axe him. If they want to do it before that, you won't hear a complaint out of me. If the new guy wants to bring in a new coach, I say go for it. | | | |

| | Well so long as Lord Stanleys Cup stays in on Canadian soil, I am a happy girl. I still wish the Edmonton Oilers would make a come back. What a team 20 years ago!!! | | | | | | |

| | Well the last 3 years, it's been a Western Canadian Team losing in Game 7 to the Southeast Division Champions. So we can expect Vancouver to lose to Atlanta in Game 7 this year to continue the trend. I too am a proud supporter of our 6 teams. | | | |
