I always get confused about both the two.my father used to say me oldies are goldies, these never get old that is they are unforgettable.
but people still are attached to new ones, then whats your choice the new or the old?

Well I prefer oldies in general but your father is wrong in my view. Movies and movie stars are generational. In much the same way that most young folks would have no clue who Stewart Grainger or Spencer Tracy are, in 50 years their children and grandchildren will have no idea who Jim Carey or Leonardo diCaprio are. Only the rarest of actors can last for long and even Cary Grant and John Wayne have faded from the view of the modern movie goer. I suppose it proves just how insignificant being a movie star is in the great scheme of things.

I prefer the old movies and the new movies are making over the old one (like come back but with different actors)Maybe it's because it was in our generations but the new movies are ok.

I like them both, it all depends on what I'm in the mood for at a particular time. Sometimes old movies just feel too 'old,' too slow, but other times they feel just right, and newer movies seem to have too much special effects and car crashes and not enough plot and character development.

Do you think that the remakes of old movies are better or is the original the best?

What's your favorite old movie? Movie star? Is it Lucielle Ball? Spencer Tracy?

I love old movies and the stars that were the headliners then. I am not a huge fan of the newest stuff for the most part. I have always watched the "oldies" since I was little. I really love almost...
