Can beauty be bought?

Nowadays,many people want to improve their appearance,not only woman,but also man.And most of them chose plastic surgery.Face-lifts,nose jobs,forehead tightener,and so on,are more popular with many people.And the best place they go is Korea.
I'm just confused that whay so many people do that thing.Does a good-looking make a very important part in our life?
Will a better physcial appearance improve the chaces of getting a good job?
Will it help you find a better partner?
Or they just want to look more beautifull?
Can beauty be bought?

To some extent physical beauty can be bought. I think people feel more self confident when they look better. It adds to their ability to feel better about themselves. I'm sure it helps to some extent in society. Looking young may help one in certain fields for example the beauty industry.
However, this is limited to the surgeon's skills and your own bone structure and of course having enough funds.
But people should never forget that real beauty is really on the inside, not the outside.
