Give your opinion on Simon Cowell!!!

Me too. I watch American Idol every night waiting what Simon Cowell will comment to the contestant. Before when I saw the first session of American Idol. I really hate him. When the days goes I watch the American Idol, now I understand him. I really like him. His really honest and true to himself. Just like you said, he speaks his mind. Go Go Simon...

I love how honest he is- He isn't afraid of the fans booing- he could care less- I actually think he likes it when they do disagree and make noise. He likes the part of the villian. I like it to with him. Paul only agrees with everything Randy says-- Randy says Dog too much! Simon is the honest one.. Tell you like it is- He is a big part of why I watch the show too!

I love Simon Cowell he is the reason I watch the show. Randy is alright and Paula too nice to the contestants. I like Simon because he is straight forward and says it like it is. I think I'd stop watching if he left the show. Although I do enjoy watching to see if Paula looks to be drunk or not.

He says things most of us are too nice to say. He's an honest guy!

I agree with you -- Simon Cowell is probably the main reason I watch the show also. The thing about Simon Cowell is that if you don't like him, you still want to watch. I think sometimes I watch just to hear him tear someone apart when they give a bad audition, or to hear him praise an artist he actually enjoys. When I first started watching American Idol a few years ago I didn't like Simon Cowell, but I have grown to like him.

He's like that strict teacher you have in high school that everyone wants to get an approval from.

I agree with you 100%! The only reason why AI has ratings that literally go thru the roof is because of Simon Cowell. I mean if all the judges were like Paula and Randy going, "oh it was just a bit pitchy..." or something like that, the show would have been a bore. But Simon is the voice of the living room audience! What the stage audience don't know is there are people who are actually saying, "Hey he sucks!" or something like that but can't actually be heard by them so Simon does the talking. His comments are actually very reliable because most of the time he's right about it! I think he became less rude this season because he stopped criticizing on Sanjaya and has been really soft these days. Well the main point here is, Simon's the best! yey!

I do think that despite the bad attitude of Simon Cowell, I have learned to accept him for what he is. Everyone can call him rude, insensitive or brutally frank, but what the heck, he is just being himself. He is not only being honest to his character but he is also the same to the contestants, which is what people should really be thankful for. Without his judging, we would have to contend with the flowery and sugary words and sweet talks that Paula, and sometimes Randy, has to say.
