How many licks does it Really take to get to the center of a bubble gum Charms?

I remember this commercial from when I was little the tootsie pop one and the owl only made it last 3 licks. I think we have all tried to count and forget and bite! I prefer the bubble gum ones anyway.

The last time I counted, I made it to 127 licks before my desire to bite into it won the battle. There were a few entries in the Guiness Book of World Records about this, if the desire strikes you, you can check the website to get the answer to your question.

Actually I was trying to ask a question that people knew about, but obviously it was not in there best interest tonight. It just sounded like a fun question was all. I will check the web-site.

Update www.worldrecords.com is for sale, and was in operation for 8 years. They give the land address as Canada. I was going to look up that word too as being the longest as well. Oh Well.
