Why Mylot Members Avoid Participating in Serious Type of Discussions ?

I feel that the members of Mylot in general are either shying away or not interested in participating in the serious types of discussions ! The discussions which have lot of scope for a debate and does have some social significance should definitely be attended by the members!
I know there are many matured, educated, professional and genius members in this forum and they can definitely contribute this site by contributing their valuable advices in the form of discussions! For the mwmbers of this kind I know for sure money really doesn't have any importance for them, and they are in this forum somply because they enjoy to participate in this forum and relax them selves by spending some quality time on this site!
May be the young members for whom approaching a serious topic may be a biot boring ! But I think they also must participate in such discussions and putforth their views, which may or may not be true! This will definitely initiate the discussion for a debate and thus the more scoipe of getting more information to the discussion is generated!
At the end it is my humble request to each and every member of this community to actively particuipate in the discussions which are bit serious in nature and lets all together develop a nice informative dat base for this Community! Thanks ! All the best!

Nice to see your topic and how you have summerized the overall behavior and interest of the community, I really appreciate you and agree with your comments. Its nice. I have also observed the same but would like to add here that it depends upon the area of interest where the discussion is being done. For example, if somebody is doing in jokes then whatelse remain there for seriousness. I think actual problem is that most of the mylotters are not doing the job in that particular area. They just start posting where they feel that a good response can be grabed. Sometimes I do the same ;) But I am sure that your nice suggestions will not go invain and definitely people here will think. Lets make the community "the best". Good Luck and best wishes too.

i agree with you. some myLot members and including me doesn't really want some over serious discussions here for some valid reasons. 1. we are here to earn money and have fun. 2. some people, if in a debate, they will have the chance to earn an enemy for contrasting ideas. 3. light discussions is more easier to talk to than serious ones.
