what's the book wherein you had to make your first book report assignment?  

I had my first book report not in my Math class but in my English class, of course. I chose the book "Black Beauty" by Anna Sewell. I had a great passion on the lives of the horses at that time so I decided to read and make a report about the animals that are really close to my heart. I had a great time reading the book and making the report. I think I still have the copy of my very first book report.

The first book report that I remember doing is Silas Marner, by George Elliot, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silas_Marner.

We had to do a book report on this book, and I hated the book with a passion! I wanted to write a report about my favorite book at the time, and I don't remember the name of the book! It was about a Norwegian family, I think, and their efforts to live through a harsh winter in their homeland.
