Canada Celebrates its War Vets - the 90th anniversary of Vimy Ridge

It is often referred to as the battle that created a country. Canadian pride stemming from the sacrifice at Vimy would drive the demands for full nation status at the end of the war. This was similar to India but we already had domestic powers. I cannot even imagine the bravery of these men, walking headlong into withering machine gun fire, I hope I never find out for myself.
