My darling little 3 year old daughter got very angry at me a few months ago (I don't even remember what for) and she yelled at me that she wanted to die. Now of course this brought me up short and fast. My mother just passed away 6 months ago. I think I was almost in shock by what she had said. I dropped to the floor and hugged her and asked why she would want to die? She said "To go be with grandma and have wings". Well, I guess this makes sense (as a three year old), but how do I explain that that's just not right? I tried and failed miserably. Any suggestions would be great. I know both of my children loved my mom very much.

i think letting her know that you need her with you and one day she will have her own wings and be with grandma. this would of hurt me to no end. let her know that your moms watching her and wants her to still be there with you and have plent of things to do so she can tell her all when she goes to be with her. this is so hard sometimes i think.
