Halladay pitched well in a high pressure game, but still did not look like Roy Halladay. The bats came to life often enough to win this game against a great pitcher, and now the Jays are alone in 1st place in the AL East in this very young season.
What are your thoughts on the game?

Yeah that double play from 3rd to 2nd to fisrt was great. With the runner going home, that play saved a run, but maybe the game. Kazmir was plowing through the Jays pretty good there. Lots of strike out may have wore him down a bit though, good for us! Halladay games are the one game that I usually always make sure I catch, but he did look a little weak there in the six (?).

In both of his starts, he didn't look like Roy Halladay. Both quality starts, both well enough to win, but I am used to seeing a WHIP under 1, and more so, a pitch count that averages like 14 an inning, but our relievers got to rest anyway, and Janssen was perfect again.

Yeah, I noticed that too, and to be honest, was a little disappointed by it.
Roy Halladay has officially spoiled me. He's made me believe a perfect game is possible every time.

I couldn't find that double play on mlb.com highlights.
The game was on Sportsnet and I don't get Sportsnet so I had to listen on the radio. There were three good defensive plays I wanted to see.
