National Cherish an Antique Day
Do you like antiques? Do you have any family heirlooms that you are proud of? Tell us about them....
I have my great grandparent's farm table in the kitchen and my grandparent's mahogany bedroom furniture....I love all the pieces and treasure them.

I am upset that this day isn't on any calenders that I know of. Wow, there really is a day for almost everything =) A lot of the antiques my family has are from 1940's Japan when my grandpa was sent there in WW2. We even have his uniform, his "honorably discharged" papers, Japanese kimono, shortsword,sandals, coin purses and a boxful of news articles and books. We have a few other things which I can't remember right now but they're always fun to look through.
