It's the Blue Jays Home Opener, an AJ Burnett is hopefully looking to redeem himself from his last start which undoubtedly scared a lot of Blue Jays fans. Much of our hopes are riding on Burnett being almost Halladay good, and these are the Royals. Personally, I believe Burnett will step up and put together the best start we have seen from a Jays pitcher so far in 2007. I hope to see him pitching in the 7th inning and for BJ Ryan to show us that his blown save last week was a fluke. What are your thoughts?

Yeah hoping that a.j shows us that last start of his was due to the low temperature. though I don't know about him hitting the seventh. It's a little too early season for them to start doing that. That's what I think though. A few games in we'll probably see them doing it. I may be wrong but we'll find out in about four hours now won't we?

Well, he managed his way into the later part of the game and gave up only the one run. Not bad at all.

I had school, but I showed up in the bottom of the 5th, in time to see him pitch, too bad he ruined his shutout with that homerun, but he left with a WHIP less than 1, and cut his ERA from 27 to probably 7 and change. Other than that Home Run, I don't think a Royal made it to 3rd and only Mike Sweeney had hits.
