help with little league baseball  

The game usually lasts about an hour or so. About the parent issue, if these are little children then the parents usually aren't allowed to be poor sports and you can talk to whoever runs the league after it happens if it happens. As for your 9 year old, I would try to mentally prepare him before the game that there are people there that might say mean and hurtful things, but just to ignore them and try his best. If he tries his best YOU will be proud of him and that is all that really matters. But I would also try to get him a little extra practice in before the game, since most of the time the kids get the jitters right before and during the games most of the time. Hi Sweets,My hubby was a coach,umpire,and pre of our little league..I've done alot with running the concession stand and other LL stuff..Managing the all star tournments..
The thing is let your little guy know that some people are unhappy with their life and yell at others and those are the people for him not to listen to..
My husband used to take parents like that aside for a talk..the next time they were asked to leave the park..One or two people would have to leave per season ..the talk would get around quickly and you'd be surprised how fast people could change their attitudes..They have a different president now and I've heard it's bad sometimes now..Too bad ..huh?
