here is an example.. In action films, the hero and the villain's will end up in an abandoned building and have a gun fight, and when the only one left is the leader of the villain people, they will exchange lines, shouting, even though they are just one pillar far. and mind you, the hero kill all the villain's follower but didn't get any wound. he will be shot by the leader but not a serious wound. he will then kill the leader and will deliver his last line. the police will then arrived at the scene to catch the bad guys, with the hero left...

I don't know if this is true or not, but everybody just seem to know this that it seem to stand as a fact. Apparently there was a case once when in a movie Fernando Poe was wounded and a theater watcher in Muslim Mindanao shot the projector man. I don't know if this was just a popular jest or not, or a discrimination joke of sorts. I think Filipinos back then has the mistaken notion that heroes are invincible. Another funny fact on movies back then is that there always have to be dance numbers on the beach, park, school or carnivals. Kind of like "Grease." Maybe that's where they got it.

Most often than not, the lead protagonists in action films always had to endure hardships. Some kind of plot where the story would run to., Vengeance as it is. Most of the time as well, they need to save someone close to them which the antagonist conveniently take away. And yeah, the authorities would always be last in the scene.
