are you afraid of the dark?

Yes I am very afraid of the dark. I had a bad expereince in the dark and now it terrifies me to be alone in the dark.

It is not the dark but people or things that might be there and could harm me. At home I am perfectly okay with being in the dark at night. :)

May I ask how sleeping in the dark affects your breathing? If you really have a problem breathing then, you may have a sleep disorder that you should see a doctor about.

I was afraid of the dark when I was little, but eventually I learned that I am claustrophobic, and I don't like enclosed places. The dark makes me feel very closed in. I've learned to cope with it now, and the darkness has become my friend.
