I couldn't believe last nights Canucks game. I'm not sure I've ever heard of a game going into 4 overtimes before. They pretty much played 2 complete hockey games and an extra 18 minutes of another one. Those men must have been so tuckered out. I missed most of the regulation game because I actually forgot that last night was the Canucks' first game of this years Stanley Cup playoffs. A friend of mine called me during the first overtime to see if I was listening to the game on the radio. I turned in on and go to listen to the last 3 overtime rounds. Gotta love those Sedine brothers. I think that Linden will always be my favorite but man did the brothers ever impress me last night. I love how they play in tandem. They know each other so well and when they are on the ice together it's just amazing how well they work together. God bless Henrick Sedine for finally scoring the goal to make it 5-4 for the Canucks after 18 minutes of the fourth overtime. And of course, god bless Lalongo. I mean, that guy is amazing. As I said in a earlier post, I was kind of upset that we got rid of Cloutier and I was so not prepared to like the new goalie but he's definatly changed my mind. Makes me almost wish I had cable so I could actually SEE him make some of these incredible saves that he manages to pull off. But even just listening to the games on the radio, it's so thrilling to hear the crowds reaction when he manages to come out of nowhere and stop a puck. Well.. they won the first game in quite an amazing game. Let's hope they do as well for the rest of the playoffs.

I hung with that game as long as I could. Out here on the East coast it didn't even start till 10:30 PM which is actually my normal bedtime. I have Daniel Sedin in my playoff hockey pool so it was good to see him score. Tonight is my night as my Calgary Flames have their first game. In tough with the Wings but I always like their chances no matter who they play.
