what is a RSS feed and how does it work ?

What is a rss feed. How do you generate a xml for the same. Where should one feed such xml data?

Make your blog ping to the burnfeed.com, or Technorati.com sites. They will provide the your blogs RSS feed to you. Then you'll make it submit to the mylot.

Well I know about that part of it. My doubt was on, say you want to do it manually, any tips?
