What are some of your favorite country music songs? Specificly country music  

Oh yeah I'd have too many to list :) I've been listening to country for thirty years and I've been exposed to many singers from before I was born. However I'll try to give you some of ones that I love and maybe share some you might not have heard of before.

Phantom 309, Teddy Bear, Roses for Momma, Convoy: all by Red Sovine. He did some great songs but make sure you have a kleenex handy, some of them pull at the heart strings.

The Class of 57, Do you remember these, Whatever Happened to Randolph Scott, Elizabeth, When the Lights Come on at Wrigley Field, and You are My Sunshine: All By the Statler Brothers.

The Pill, Ones On The Way, Dear Uncle Sam, Coal Miner's Daughter, and many more: By Loretta Lynn

Old Hippy, Older Hippie, If I said you had a beautiful body would you old it against me, Rebels Without a Clue, Kids of the Baby Boom, and many more: Bellemy Brothers

Ok I think I have listed enough to give you some ideas. I usually go by artists but sometimes I will group them by themes. There are many more I like by Billy Ray Cyrus, Garth Brooks, Reba, Dolly Parton and so on but I figured I gave you a sampling and if you haven't heard the songs you might want to.

I love the Oak Ridge Boys and love all of their songs and been the their concert.

I love anything by Rascal Flatts and Brad Paisley. I especially love Skin, What Hurts the Most, My Wish and He's Not the Leavin' Kind by Rascal Flatts. I love Alyssa Lies by Jason Michael Carroll. I love My Daughter's Eyes, Concrete Angel, God's Will and Independence Day by Martina McBride. I played There You Are by martina McBride as my wedding march. I also like Lonestar's Amazed, I'm Already There and My Front Porch Looking In. I like The Little Girl by John Michael Montgomery. There's really too many too list. I'm not into anything before the 90's. My dad used to listen to The Charlie Daniels Band when I was a kid, so I grew up with some country. I really like Patsy Cline, Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton even though they are older artists. I just listen to country music now. Most of the other stuff out there just grates on my nerves. I can't stand rap and hip hop. I guess I'm just too old to "get" it. =)

'Whiskey Lullaby'(Brad and Allison duet) and 'When you say nothing at all'(Allison's) are being over played by me.

I love country music it the only thing I really listen to. I like Trace Adkins song Ladies love Country Boys. I like all different kinds of song from funny to heartbreaking. I like Shooter Jennings new song to though i cant remember the name of it about still not getting any play time. There is going to be a big country music festival in my home town this summer. check it out at silver ridge music festival it looks like it will be awesome.

I like some country music, primarily stuff from the 90s and more the cross over stuff than anything else.

Admidtly, not very "country" today Shania Twain was relatively unknown when I discovered her and at the time she was considered a country artist and constantly on CMT. My desire to see/hear more of her at the time was what actually introduced me to other country artists and got me liking some, definetly completely unexpected for me at that time. I was a pop/rnb/rock girl. So she will always remain my number 1 no matter how uncountry she is.

I haven't had cable tv since the mid 90s so I am admidtly completely out of the loop, but they are my country enjoyments for the most part.

I think there are too many for me to list but those are some of them. I love country music. I use to listen to it only when I had to but now its so relaxing to me. And I can still shake my booty to it lol.

Hello. I think my favorite country music song would have to be "The Dance" by Garth Brooks. I think that song is so heartfelt, it makes me cry everytime. I especially love the music video which is about all of the great ones who have made an impact on everyone's life such as John F. Kennedy, John Wayne, and Martin Luther King. I like alot of different country songs but this one especially touches my heart. I think country music is so cool. I think it has changed alot from the older type of country music. Most of it now sounds like pop music.
