| | Oh yeah I'd have too many to list :) I've been listening to country for thirty years and I've been exposed to many singers from before I was born. However I'll try to give you some of ones that I love and maybe share some you might not have heard of before. Phantom 309, Teddy Bear, Roses for Momma, Convoy: all by Red Sovine. He did some great songs but make sure you have a kleenex handy, some of them pull at the heart strings. The Class of 57, Do you remember these, Whatever Happened to Randolph Scott, Elizabeth, When the Lights Come on at Wrigley Field, and You are My Sunshine: All By the Statler Brothers. The Pill, Ones On The Way, Dear Uncle Sam, Coal Miner's Daughter, and many more: By Loretta Lynn Old Hippy, Older Hippie, If I said you had a beautiful body would you old it against me, Rebels Without a Clue, Kids of the Baby Boom, and many more: Bellemy Brothers Ok I think I have listed enough to give you some ideas. I usually go by artists but sometimes I will group them by themes. There are many more I like by Billy Ray Cyrus, Garth Brooks, Reba, Dolly Parton and so on but I figured I gave you a sampling and if you haven't heard the songs you might want to. | | | | | | | nowment (1186)

| | I remember all of those songs, and you are so right about the Red Sovine requiring a klenex I remember when Teddy Bear first came out, and I even have besides Teddy Bear, the sequel to that song, Teddy Bear's Last Ride Part 2. Tears your heart out. And I loved the Bellemy brothers, when I was in school everyone was listening to Queen, and Kiss, and Black Sabbath, and I was listening to country, including the old greats such as Jim Reeves, Patsy Cline, Hank Sr. Sonny James, Roy Clark, Buck Owens, Ray Price, Charlie Rich, and of course the huge controversy when Loretta Lynn kissed Charlie Pride on the cheek at the awards ceremony. So I know about listening to those songs, and remember them well. | | | | | | | Local Coupons 1 ridiculously huge coupon a day. Save 50-90% on your city's best! www.Groupon.com | add comment | | | |

| | They also have one of my favorite Christmas songs, which is Christmas Carol, as a fan I am sure you know it. I am so glad I got the album and have the song, because it is not a Christmas song you hear otherwise. They have some greats. | | | | | | | Meet & Date Older Singles Private Compatibility Matching. | | I love anything by Rascal Flatts and Brad Paisley. I especially love Skin, What Hurts the Most, My Wish and He's Not the Leavin' Kind by Rascal Flatts. I love Alyssa Lies by Jason Michael Carroll. I love My Daughter's Eyes, Concrete Angel, God's Will and Independence Day by Martina McBride. I played There You Are by martina McBride as my wedding march. I also like Lonestar's Amazed, I'm Already There and My Front Porch Looking In. I like The Little Girl by John Michael Montgomery. There's really too many too list. I'm not into anything before the 90's. My dad used to listen to The Charlie Daniels Band when I was a kid, so I grew up with some country. I really like Patsy Cline, Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton even though they are older artists. I just listen to country music now. Most of the other stuff out there just grates on my nerves. I can't stand rap and hip hop. I guess I'm just too old to "get" it. =)

| | Jason Michael Carroll's Alyssa Lies can tear your heart out, but hopefully will get people to be more aware that when they know of a child who needs help they will help right away. There are always to many to list, but sometimes it is just nice to know I am not the only person listening to country music because it is not that popular in this area, and it seems all my friends and family don't listen to it. Though my sister is now beginning to as is my niece. I don't know if you are to old to get it, I have not listend to noise ever in my life. Including age 5 and 6 so if you are to old to get it I guess I was always to old. Though back then it was Heavy Metal instead of Rap and Hip Hop. I am a big Trisha Yearwood fan, as well as Trais Tritt, though I don't know if he has anything new out. I live in a radio black hole where radio reception is poor to non existant, which grates since I finally moved to the middle of no where and in the car can get some country radio again. | | | | | | | Christmas Screensavers Download Free High Resolution Christmas Screensavers Instantly! | | I tend to go in spurts where I overplay some songs. I also find that the emotions, and stories of the songs can help express things to others that might otherwise go unsaid since I may not know how to put things into words. I remember the song I Miss You A Little by John Michael Montgomery, he wrote it about the passing of his father. It describes really well the way my mom felt about my grandmother. Mom and I had our times of disagreements, etc, but I played it for Mom and said that it was likely how I would feel about her when she was gone, and that it seemed to be about how she felt about her mom, she didn't really say much after hearing it I could tell it meant something to her. I guess because so many in family have passed away I learned early to tell people when they are still part of our lives how much they mean to us. The other song I played for her that day was Garth Brooks A Friend to Me he wrote it for his wife, but the song is really good for any relationship with a strong emotional bond, such as parent/child, siblings, friends, lovers We both laughed as one part of the song These lines were very meaningful for us : You can be so stubborn There's times I think you just like to fight And I hope and pray I live to see a day When you say I might be right I do think it is a great song about those strong deep emotional relationships. | | | | | | | Cheep Bargins Deals Mobile,Tablet,eBook,Games,Apparel,Beauty,Toys Software http://www.beztdeals.com | add comment | | | |

| | I like some country music, primarily stuff from the 90s and more the cross over stuff than anything else. Admidtly, not very "country" today Shania Twain was relatively unknown when I discovered her and at the time she was considered a country artist and constantly on CMT. My desire to see/hear more of her at the time was what actually introduced me to other country artists and got me liking some, definetly completely unexpected for me at that time. I was a pop/rnb/rock girl. So she will always remain my number 1 no matter how uncountry she is. Apart from that I like: Garth Brooks - The Change and Standing Outside the fire Chely Wright - It Was; Unknown Trisha Yearwood - How Do I live Dixie Chicks <3 <3 especially Top of the World and Wide Open Spaces Martina McBride - Independance Day, Broken Wing (or something like that) Other noteables include Sherie Austin, Mindy McCready, and the Wilkinsons. I haven't had cable tv since the mid 90s so I am admidtly completely out of the loop, but they are my country enjoyments for the most part. | | | | | | | nowment (1186)

| | There are some great songs listed there. Shania Twain is still considered contry. I know how it is to not be able to have a country station in your area. One good station you can listen to over the internet is on www.catcountry1073.com then click on the area on the right where it lets you listen to the station on line. I live in a radio void, very few stations will come in on a home stereo, only on car radios, and so I listen to the country station this way. I grew up listening to country music, when it was popular to do so, and yes the 90's was a boone to country music as many of the artists did cross over songs or made it into popular / hit movies creating more attention to their music. | | | | | | | Christmas Music Find Christmas Music Using Local Search! christmas.local.com | add comment | | | |

| | Hello. I think my favorite country music song would have to be "The Dance" by Garth Brooks. I think that song is so heartfelt, it makes me cry everytime. I especially love the music video which is about all of the great ones who have made an impact on everyone's life such as John F. Kennedy, John Wayne, and Martin Luther King. I like alot of different country songs but this one especially touches my heart. I think country music is so cool. I think it has changed alot from the older type of country music. Most of it now sounds like pop music. | | | | | | | nowment (1186)

| | There seems to be several levels of country music, from the pop like songs, or "crossover" songs, to the more traditional, to the old country western, to bluegrass, Yes the Dance is a great song, Garth Brooks has a way of writing songs that seem to really hit the spot on some things such as the Dance, Change, If Tomorrow Never Comes, A Friend to Me, I Will Sail My Vessal, Unanswered Prayers. I think that so much of it is played on pop stations now, shows how good the music is, but for much of it the sound still has that country flavor. Either by choice of instruments, or something in the singer's voice. I remember when Central Park had the councerts in the Park they would be aired on TV, there was one with Diana Ross that stands out and then the Garth Brooks one, and the crowds he drew were amazing, since so few seem to know country music despite the size of the crowd they were silent when he sang the Dance. I think it moves a lot of people. | | | | | | | The Kind Tickets Concerts Sports Theatre Tickets www.thekindtickets.com | add comment | | | |
