whether at home or outside, i would prefer having my coffee in a mug. or something more solid to drink in. that's why if i get the chance to have breakfast at chowking, i would order coffee, because they serve coffee in a porcelain mug. if i go to strarbucks or any other cafe, i should have my tumbler with me so i can order something hot, but if i don't have it, i would most probably just ordering frappe.

I think majority here use porcelain mugs while drnking coffee at home. I mean its more enjoyable that way and you only use your porcelain mugs while at home so make the most of it.

I love to drink my coffee from a proper mug. Actually, I am pretty specific about how I drink my coffee. I don´t like mugs that are super thick or thin around the rim, just regular. Paper cups burn your hands and don´t have the handle, or if they do, it is a carton one that breaks quickly, so paper cups really aren´t a good option.

I have a favorite mug I use. It is a blue mug with the karma sutra on it, lol. I won it at a halloween party a few years ago. When I wash it, I dont use soap. I found that just using plain HOT water works best. It's something my father always did. He claimed not using soap improved the taste of the coffee. I think it seems to make a small difference.

porcelain.i just think it tastes better than the paper ones.some of the paper you can't reheat well, because of the wax coating on the outside.
