If you want to quit smoking you can do a few things. Get a nicotine patch and quit that way. You can limit yourself to less and less daily and then if you need to use a patch or you can just say right from now on no more smoking. some people are fortunate they can give it up easy - what i'd say is tell your friends so they can watch out for you if your feeling tempted and just try and focus your mind on other things, maybe take up a sport? There's sites on the net and articles in regards quitting smoking (google) and if you ever feel your loosing your nerve remember the reasons why you want to quit smoking. Make a list and keep it with you to remind yourself. If you have a calender mark off the days so you can see your own progress. Goodluck

Instead of buying cigarettes, just ask your friends and family if you can have one. That will help you cut back and then they are gonna get mad if you keep bumming smokes off of them and hide them from you and tell you they are all out. Then you can quit smoking. Good luck.

bodybuilding with a reason is all u need to stay away from smoking.try to get into the best shpe possible.make it ur passion.n know in ur heart tht smoking reduces muscles .if u r focussed u wont feel like smoking.good luck

Qutting smoking as you know, can be one of the hardest things you've ever had to do. Non smokers (not ex smokers, I mean people that have never been addicted) seem to think it is as easy as saying," Hmm..I think I will quit smoking today" and that's it. That is why it irks me when non smokers spew out facts about why cigarettes are dangerous and why we should quit; as if we don't know that already. There are exceptions where people really have no clue how harmful it can be, but I am talking about the majority here. That being said, take it from an ex smoker: Once you decide to quit, you can NEVER pick up another cigarette again, no matter. Let's say you quit for 6 months then decide one won't hurt: IT WILL! You will be right back to craving them again and starting the process all over. Now, the craving never completely goes away, but it does die down tremendously the longer you abstain.

The thing that worked for me is cold turkey. The weening process of having one or two a day was never my thing. What I was doing was still keeping a flow of nicotine running through my system. Nicotine is where the craving comes from. If you quit cold turkey and drink lots of waters, within 72 hours the cravings and shakes diminish because the nicotine is out of your system. There will be times after that when you almost feel you would die for a cigarette, but if you just take your mind off of it, a few minutes late the feeling is gone. Keep doing this daily and you have a good chance of beating it. Good Luck.

I was doing all right for 2 weeks, and I broke the promise today, and I'm on the beginig again. Some personal problems are making quiting smoking even harder for me. If I was all right in my private life, I think that I was gone quit long time ago.
