What type of bait do you use when you go fishing..do you use worms or minnows or lures..do you prefer rod fishing or fly fishing or deep sea fishing? What kind of items do you bring with you on your fishing adventures..do you bring a tackle box along??:) I love fishing but no lakes over here to fish at;)+

Myself I prefer artificial. It is just a little more challenging and I'm not just sitting on the shore or in the boat and waiting. I guess it is more of a proactive approach. But there are times when bait is the order of the day depending upon the species that I am fishing for. For example: sunnies, bluegill, rock bass and perch I would use night-crawlers,meal worms wax-worms,corn or bread For others like carp and catfish I would use corn, cut bait, chicken livers or dough-balls Finally for larger species like bass or walleye I would use Minnows, Large night-crawlers. As far as what I bring that would always be At least 2 rods and my tackle box and while my tackle box is a bit larger than some others as I said I prefer artificial.

To be honest I am just a down home girl that still uses minnows and leeches and nightcrawlers for bait. I don't get into all of that fancy stuff for fishing. The tacklebox is only along for when we get snags and have to re-rig the lines or to get a nasty hook out. You should come over here to fish. Devils Lake is a national fishermans spot! You would love it I am sure.
