James Brown & Pavarotti - An Amazing Colaboration - Check It Out  

To be there in person would have been just wonderful. The atmosphere and weather seemed perfect.

Those people who attended that performance will never forget it.

I attended his viewing at the world famous Apollo Theatre in Harlem. It was an amazing evening.

It was the first time I had ever heard of this colaboration. I really don't even know how I came across it.

I had the honor of viewing the body of James Brown at the world famous Apollo theater in Harlem, New York. It was truly an amazing event.

The lines of people wanting to get inside and see him streatched fully around 2 city blocks on both sides of the Apollo Theater. It took us almost 4 hours to get in.

While we waited in the line, people sang, danced and told stories about James Brown. Across the street from the Apollo an electronic store blasted a medley of James Brown's recordings.

People on that side of the street, danced and sang throughout the afternoon and evening as up to 10 different news satellite trucks from all the major networks recorded it. I can't you tell what an amazing day it was.

To see thousands of people of all colors come out to pay their respect to Mr. Brown was heartwarming. To see hundreds of police officers doing their jobs and so see helicoptors swarming above was overwhelming.

He might have had his faults, but he will be missed.

Lloyd, that must have been great. But that's the kind of send-off I'd expect for the 'hardest working man in showbiz'!

I was fortunate to have seen him in concert in NYC back in 1984, it was a great show. I forget how many people he had on stage in his band, but they sounded great.

You are so right. I really never surfed YouTube before. There are tons of good things there.
