Have you dyed your hair, yourself?  

I dyed my hair a couple of times when I was younger. I did it myself both times and it came out OK. Once I died it red, and once black. My hair is naturally a boring light brownish color.

Nah......NEVER!I haven't dyed my hair by myself.Either i do dying on my hair through a Barber or i tell my mother to dye my hair because, I can't dye my hair by myself because I think that it'll make my hair look ugly cuz i don't know how can i dye my hair by myself :P

I'd suggest others also if they want to dye their hairs so tell others that are experts in hair designing to dye your hairs.

I have always dyed my hair myself since i started nearly 10years ago. It has always turned out ok except for 2 times. Once was when i out a brownish/red colour in and it turn out bright red. OMG.

My hair was always blonde when i was younger but as i got into my teens it started to go darker so i started dying it blonde. One time i out a new blonde colour in it and it turned out white. I had to get my mam to run up to the chemist and by me a light brown colour to put in over it.

at the moment i am gone back to my natural colour, have gotten tired of dying it all the time.

I have always dyed my own hair, until...I wanted it a dark red so i went to the store bought the kit, and when it was all said and done my hair was purple. I waited about two weeks thought I'd just buy myslef a frost and tip kit and turn it blonde, I got a brand new head of hunter orange hair. I am not joking it was sick looking. I ended up going to a professional and they got it blonde for me and I'm still having to go get the blonde cut out every three months. Needless to say I haven't had my hair dyed since. I've learned to live with my natural red hair.

I have always dyed my hair at home. I have light brown hair. I have colored my hair to be either blonde or redish. I like a nice strawbeery red shade.

Yes, I have dyed my hair myself several times. I prefer to have a salon do it, because they are better at it, but when I did it, it turned out pretty good. I did my own recently with a product that came with a glazing cream and my hair is so shiny. My hair is normally dull and lifeless, but now it is just lifeless and shiny. LOL! But I tend to want to have a salon do it. It is just so expensive!

One time I wanted to put highlights on my hair, i followed the directions to the T and when I was done I was in tears!

My hair turned YELLOW...not blond...YELLOW like the crayon color yellow!

I had to go to the beauty shop to have a professional get it 1/2 way back to normal.

Needless to say, I don't try to dye my hair anymore!

I'm forever dying my hair myself. Thank God I've never hand any problems with it.

I have done this on my own to disastrous results and never will again. I had old blond streaks I wanted to cover so I figured I would get a darker brown and it would cover the streak and blend in with my normal light brown hair .Well when i lifted my head from the sink I was shocked to see I was coal jet black. I was crying and laughing all at once my best friends was there and she was saying maybe it will dry lighter and i hoped she was right. Now I must mention I did this to save a whopping 10 dollars. I dried it and i looked like a witch my hair was black it was so horrible. But what was worse was calling my stylist and telling her what I had done. I spent the next day at the salon for 5 hours getting my hair back to light brown and it cost 60 dollars. Never again
