Has anyone ever tried Spaghetti Eis?

It's a dish, where gelato is put through a machine to look like spaghetti noodles and then topped with cherry or strawberry sauce (to look like spaghetti sauce). It's really delicious, but hard to find in the U.S. I first tried it in Germany.

I have never tried nor even heard of this kind of food!!! But it sounds so interesting I would like to try one! Where do I find this in the US?

Like I said, it's pretty hard to find in the U.S. But, I did find a website where they have recipes of how to make it with ice cream. It's spaghettiicecream.com. They use shavings of white chocolate to look like the parmesan cheese. They also have a link on that site that leads you to a list of places that serve it. In Germany, it's so popular that you can buy it at the grocery store. I've never tried to make it, but I think it would be fun. There is a place where I live in Seattle called Gelatiamo that makes it.
