you have for sitting on the computer or using the internet? I have just a plain old card table folding chair. I know, it is pathetic, but there really is nothing better around. I am regretting this poor choice of chairs lately as it is really starting to kill my back, but I was curious as to what other users like and why? Let me know your preference. I need some help deciding what I should spend my hard earned money on! lol

I was using a regular old wooden kitchen chair for years. Darn thing was so uncomfortable, but I didn't want to splurge on getting a comfy seat for myself. Several months ago my husband convinced me to get a new chair as we always complained about our 'computer chair'. So we looked online and picked out a few that we liked. But we preferred to make our final decision in person. We ended up getting the Leather Executive EZ chair from Office Max.
Here are it's features:3 1/2" pneumatic seat height adjustment
Tension control and lockout feature
Double layer pillow top construction on seat and back
Innovative 'no tools required' assembly
Heavy duty five star base finish
It is very comfortable. I only wish we had gotten it sooner, even though it took a bit out of my husband's paycheck! :P

Thank you for the insight into what kind of chair you use. I will have to look into that kind. Sounds really comfy!lol I am going to try and do some research before I buy one, as I know that they are not cheap, and I want to get the one that is just right for me. This was exactly what I was looking for. If you don't mind my asking how much did you pay? Just curious as I am thinking that I will probably spend about $150-$200 for my next chair.

The chair is normally $200, but my husband and I got it on sale for $150.
I've included a link this time for the Executive EZ Chair:
http://www.officemax.com/
Just type in Executive EZ Chair and it should come up as the first and second chair. It comes in two colors, slate and brown.
I've also added a picture, so you and others on here can see what it looks like.

We have a computer type chair that swivels, is padded and is possible to raise/lower. The trouble is with different members of the family sharing the chair it ends up being in a different position and not comfortable sometimes. It works quite well so is quite easy to alter. We have had it ages though so I don't know where we got it from or how much it cost.

That sounds really comfy and just about what I need! My nephew is always coming over and using the computer whenever I am not on, so I assume that when I do get a new chair he will be adjusting it as he is already about a half a foot taller than me. I like the idea of a swivel chair! No more banging the knees!
Thanks for the info. I will check out swivels too.
