Mount Everest  | |  Why do people quest to climb Mount Everest? Is this a sign of fulfillment to all mountain climbers? Do all climber who successfully reached the peak were all males?

| | | | | | | | 1.  CinderInMySoul (4362) | 3 years ago |  i think ppl climb Mt. Everest because its quite possibly the ultimate test of physical/mental endurance..in some of the worst (for a human) conditions on the planet.
not All successful climbers have been men..there have been a few woman.
i know a couple of mountain climbers that when asked "do you want to climb mt. everest?" give you the "are you crazy" look and say a definate No! lol so not all climbers consider it a sign of fulfillment.
