Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows---unofficial ebook |
|
Hi friends, I just came across an unofficial(perhaps pirated) version of the book Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows. Though I don't support piracy, I couldn't stop my curiosity and had a look at its contents.
The book had a lot of printing mistakes and it was incomplete (I think), but it was enough to provide most of the answers.
This is one action packed book, in the beginning Harry persuaded Hagrid to take him to Godric's Hollow, where he encountered lots of Voldemort's Dementors....but was helped by Godric Griffindor's descendants living in the village and they happened to be friends of his parents.
There was the first death during the wedding. It was Gabrielle, who was killed by Bellatrix Lestrange. Fred & George became the new members of The Order of the Phoenix, Harry denied to join as he had many secrets to conceal.
Harry, initially didn't want to go back to Hogwarts but finally went as Draco Malfoy was sneaking in Hogwarts. Mcgonagall gave Harry a free reign at Hogwarts and he was to teach his juniors to DEFEND AGAINST THE DARK ARTS.
It was Regulus Black (R.A.B.) who found the Horcrux with the help of the elf Kreacher. It was the same locket that Harry, Ron & Hermoine found in the book 5. Still I don't understand what's Snape upto. He keeps sneeking to Harry secretly and helping him to track down Bellatrix.
He also confided to Harry that he Snape had been a good friend to his Mom since their Newt days, but Snape always hated James.
Harry had a few encounters with Voldemort but no one was killed. Harry started making friendship with Malfoy and Malfoy also started developing regards for Hermoinie. It seems that Voldemort and Snape has a keen interest in Hermoinie and she was abducted.
This was the end of the book, but how can the book end when either of Voldemort and Harry is alive. Further, the last chapter was no. 28. I think those who tried to copy the book missed the last few pages of the books. There were also sudden skips and typing mistakes in the middle, but I believe that the ebook was copied from the original Rowling's manuscripts. I have read her previous books and what I feel that it is her's.
Do share your opinions.

1. yenoh03 (510) | 3 years ago | Well i don't want to be offensive or anything but I think what you found is a sham copy of the Last sequel... I have lots of that actually from the first book up to the last so don't expect that it is the real thing. Also reading these released sham e-books will get you all confuse when you read the real one. So good luck with that!=p

| ratnapro (60) | 3 years ago | You may be right, my friend. But what I read made sense. Though not completely. Could u tell me whether any of the previous books mentioned Godric Hollow as the village of Godric Griffindor, there were his descendants and elf, all seems to have come from only one source,i.e. J.k.Rowling's mind. Did anyone imagine Snape being a friend of Lily. It was neither mentioned in the previous books.
I also have, as u say, a sham copy of the previous books, and I have the physical hard cover editions myself, and except some typing mistakes they are the same. Further as I say, the bad guys(pirates) managed to bring something out from the so sought-after Book 7.

3. racheldarcy (2399) | 3 years ago | I do not think that this can be the real book. Regulus Black is dead and has been for 7 years how can he have found the horcrux - surely not all thos eyears ago. I woudl hav ethought that it was more likely to have been some other member of the Black family as there were some more members with names beginning with 'R' - I am just rereading book 5 where they are looking at the Black family tree. Also regulus was a death eater so why would he do this.

He mentioned that Regulus was a Purist and thats why he joined Voldemort, but he soon found out that Voldemort's intention were to gain immortality and power for himself. According to the guy, Regulus was very close to Voldemort and found some detail about the Horcruxes. He took Kreacher with him and recovered the locket, but before he could do something with it, the Death-Eaters caught him and he was killed. And Kreacher took the locket and gave it to her mistress.
Since u are reading the book 5, u might find that the three friends found a locket at Sirius's house which they couldn't open and so they threw it. In the Deathly Hallows that I went through, Harry found it again and luckily used parselyongue to open it.

4. gr8esama (823) | 3 years ago | There's some major security that goes into the releases of the Harry Potter books. If it were a copy of the real thing it would likely have been pulled down in a heartbeat...as soon as someone mentioned to the publicist that it was out there. Most likely it's fan fiction. But what a lot of work for a fan fiction!! I've written novel length fan fictions in the past, but that's crazy.
Perhaps whoever wrote it took out stuff to make it look more like it was a stolen manuscript. But we'll all find out soon enough, won't we! Just a few more months..

| ratnapro (60) | 3 years ago | I agree, mate...Books like this are kept in tight security before its market release.....But the guy who wrote this version of Deathly Hallows is something...Lets see how much his imagination matches with the original one.

5. sean1986 (448) | 3 years ago | What ive heard is that only the first chapter of the book have been leaked out to the internet. But no one will expect that to be full of mistakes.

| ratnapro (60) | 3 years ago | Ya...the first chapter and a major part of the second chapter seems to be of Rowling's, but the rest is a bit fishy. What I said was that it was not full of mistakes, but some common mistakes in punctuation and spellings...Thats all.

| 6. lialigsay (41) | 3 years ago | i don't think that book is the real one. i doubt if hogwarts will be open again after what happened in the sixth book. and the fact that harry will befriend malfoy? that's so rubbish.

|
| ratnapro (60) | 3 years ago | As in the ebook, its not like Harry and Malfoy became real friends, but just had some understandings between them. They had the same objective, to get rid of Voldemort, as Malfoy's mother was killed by Voldemort and Lucius's life was also threatened.

8. barnkinney (617) | 3 years ago | you know, i read almost half of the fifth book in an e-book. and i'm really glad i was able to get hold of the correct one. i actually double checked when i finally got hold of a copy. heheh! most probably i would be doing the same for this seventh book. hahahah! eniweiz, i think you did got hold of a very unofficial and so incomplete copy. and i can't imagine Harry talking to Snape at all! even just look at him without doing anything to avenge what he (Snape) did to Dumbledore.. hmmm.. if you get hold of the complete and correct one, don't hessitate and send me a message containing the link, okay? thanks!
