Bob has been up and had his medicine and a protein drink and a donut. I am leaving him more food for when he gets up later.
There are four work...

Trying to get back to "normal" to go back to work on Friday, I got up at 5 and did a few things. Bob also woke up early because he was afraid he would miss his appointments.
I fell asleep in my armchair, under my heated...

Some of you may know that I had an appointment today with my endocrinologist.
I figured it would go pretty bad because I did not try very hard these past 3 months.
Luckily, it went better than I thought - still not great but...

I like that St. Luke's has their patient portal. I can message the doctor through it and see test results the next day (or as soon as they are done anyway).
This may be long....
So, I thought I would go over some of those....

I would love to have a cart like this, but I would use it for a different purpose, for sure.
While Bob was in the local ER the lab person came by. She had to take blood samples. I could see this type of device being used to care...

After no AC on Wednesday, i felt lucky to not be shunned by the TLC.
They accepted the lack of AC with some level of aplomb. Ok, they had bags packed by the front door, and signs ready to protest in the house but, they...

Going to the vet again today for fluids and labs. Hoping for a good outcome.
Had to wake her up to get her in the carrier. But she will sleep when we get back home. Fingers crossed. We find out what stage her kidney disease is at...

Phew !
Well, I didn't want to, but I went out today because I needed to pick up my medication at the pharmacy.
I got my meds, then no sooner did I get to the bus stop (thankfully only about 70 yards away, I remembered that my...

(I know, again!)
Welcome to the sad lives of the Labs that live with me. They actually have to wait for me to get moving in the morning.

I walked to the bus stop, then went to the Health Center.
I didn't have to wait that long to be called in from outside, or too long to wait outside the lab to be called in.
The technician evidently couldn't get any blood out...

It's 10:12 by my computer clock, and time for me to head to bed.
I was told on the phone that I have "labs" (tests) due at the health center, so I may go over there tomorrow to get them over with. I think it's just a regular...

Do you schedule your appointments for one day so you can get them done all at once, or do you just have one a day, for however many days you need? I was supposed to get labs done tomorrow, and I need to do it first thing in the...

All I had checked was my Vitamin D since the other tests are expensive and insurance doesn't cover it at the health fair. My doctor will order them when I see him next month --but I don't get the Vitamin D when he gets the rest of...
