is it a fact or just a myth?? i find cats adorable except for black cats which i fear because they resemble like witches of some kind..=O how long is a cat's life span and can it really survive 9 deaths??=)

I have across in stories the term "Cat has 9 lives" when i was in school. Is it true that a cat has nine lives? Or what does it really indicate or mean? Can anyone explain?

I know this is just mythical, but cats are supposed to have 9 lives right? Okay, well if you were a cat, How many lives would you have out of those 9? I think I would be left with just 6, and I'm only 22! I almost drowned twice...

I don't believe in that, we all know that we all creatures in this world is given only one life... It would be unfair if cats have 9 lives while we only have one...I know cats only have 1 life, because i saw a cat before and it...
