I just learned about what a grown up burr looks like. Apparently this tree will be a pain in its adult life. They...

The oak tree has given us a super-healthy crop of acorns. I'd like to spread the love a little. Is there any special way to plant these little darlings to get sprouts so I can plant them elsewhere? Any ideas?
Will just sticking...

When I was 5yrs old I had to have my tonsils removed and in those days we had to stay in hospital for about 5days. (ugh). Strangely enough I don't remember feeling ill or pain, only the squirrels that were in the gardens of the...
