What can you do if your allergic to Cats but love Cats?

I just love cats but I am so allergic to them. I have a new cat and she doesnt seem to bother my allergies that much. What can I do to avoid having an allergy attack while keeping cats in my home?

Im very allergic to cats however i think they are soooooo sweet and so easy to take care of they do everything on they're own.. =)
