I remember in school we were cautioned against anti-bacterial soap as it kills the good bacteria that protects against infections - its lost and they can cause antibiotic resistance.. And help breed super bugs. I just read this...

If you use antibacterial soap, it is time to throw it out! Research has shown that these soaps (that have tricolcarban and triclosan as their ingredients) are no better than regular soap and warm water at preventing infections....
