This is a close up of the carving on the set. It looks art deco to me which says 1920's but I thought claw feet were out by then. Each chair has a single carving but the love seat has 2 carvings. All the carvings are as close to identical as hand carved items like this can be.

i think antique furniture is a better quality. it has a unique look. it last longer, than the furniture that is made today. what do you think?
