Starting a Multi-Player Lan-Match: How Do You Do It?

Hey, I was just wondering how you'd set up a 3-4 player Lan-Match? I've tried an ethernet cord and also wireless and none have worked. Perhaps I'm doing it wrong, I don't know. I'd really appreciate your guys' help. Thanks.

i think it's an amazing game. do you still play it? i tried to play online too but couldnt get connected. for those of you who havent played this game, you might love it.
