I want to bake my kids a cake or something for christmas, and I need a simple recipe. I know its still 2 months to go but I need to try out first. I don't like a last min. Thanx.

My life and my cooking/baking are extreme. Things either go extremely well or extremely badly. That being said, I am interested in baking some croissants but I need a simple straight-forward recipe. Anything fancy WILL get messed...
