And it is the beep of my washing machine. And that means that I have been on my phone for last 45 minutes. I put the load and sat down with my phone. Couldn't open my laptop as my younger daughter needed it to complete her essay...

Can someone explain to me please why it is that the person in the car behind that is so anxious to overtake does so only to turn off the road 100 yards later?
