Last night I watched two music videos ( children of bodom and backstreet boys) and I noticed the vocalist having black nail polish.I am wondering what exactly does it mean to have a black color on your nails.

I have a few tubes of black lipstick, [actually, I don't even own any in red or pink!] because one or two of them are from dollar stores and were too crappy for me to use. I never have worn it to school. Plus, it would smear...
