AOE 2: Counter attacking mongols...

I am a die hard fan of mongols and I always use mongols only(if I am allowed to do so). I would like to know that how will you counter mongols with any other civilization so that I can improve my game more.

Which civilization do u consider the best in the game nd why....i think "mongols" is the best bcos of their hunting bonus and siege...u can gather esources quickly and then u can make a quick army( any thing on horses) and then...
