Why did everything in the 1950s and 60s look better than it does now?

In my opinion. It is the common nature of humans that we forget bad but remember good. That is why we long to bemoan the glorious past. What do you guys think? Thanks for the response

Who out here misses the old clasic Anime such as Robotech Sailor Moon, Ronin Warriors Gundam Wing, and much much more? Shows like the ones mentioned above are shows I grew up on. Now if I want to watch them I have to find a place...
