How do I copy family movies I put on PC from camcorder to a regular DVD disk?

I have NEro. I have the Motion PIcture program it cam ewith. I have WIndows XP. I FINALLY got my pictures off my mini disk cam corder and onto my PC. Now... how do I get them to burn to a regular size disk? I have searched these...
