Today I had bittergourd potato curry with rice. The bittergourd is boiled and the potatoes are boiled and then they are converted into a pulp with onions and chillies. It is very tasty when eaten with rice.

Today I had ringegourd with poppy seeds paste and rice. Ringe gourd is called jinge in bengali. Poppy seeds are called posto in bengali. The dish is called jhinge posto. Even potatoes can be given. It is eaten with rice.
