How does a band like DMB become a pot band?

This is a curiosity since I don't really like these bands or the subject matter. So how does a band like the Dave Matthews Band become known as a Pot band? The are obviously other rock concerts where people go and smoke, but DMB...

Just wondering who all are DMB fans and what you guys think about this summer's tour, LeRoi getting hurt, Coffin, etc... I'm going to both nights of Alpine in a few weeks, anyone else?

having seen him live, i adored him, he is funny and kept everyone entertained between the intervals, how about that he can sing and make jokes, my favourite song is crash, always makes me tingle

Has anyone seen DMB in concert?

I was at Keesler AFB, Buloxi, Mississippi and they have a concert called CPR fest. It's the local rock radio channel, CPR. You buy a $35 ticket and you don't know who's playing. I went to three of them and no one big played....

What are your views on Dmb now and in the past?
