my dad (now he is 74 so this is A LONG TIME AGO) was left handed when he was a kid but when he went to school they had a FIT and made him learn how to write right handed so now he has been right handed every since..

I am left handed and although some things can be confusing, it is not that bad. For instance, whenever someone ask me which way, left or right, I always have to think of which hand I write with to tell them.
