Last time, I made toast, it was
really burnt.
I got really busy and left the toaster
oven on too high for a minute too long
and it really burned good!
Ordinarily, I would have simply

Beets are the oddest food I've ever used in a recipe!
To me, they taste strange. I've never developed
a taste for beets. I'm sure they're nutritious, but
I just don't know how to cook them in a way to make
them taste...

I didn't really learn to cook until after
my daughter was born.
